1. Who Is An Air Traffic Controller (atc)?
An ATC is a person who coordinates the movement of air traffic, to ensure that aircraft stay safe distances apart.

4. What Is The Job Of A Junior Executive Atc?
A Junior Executive has to keep track of all the flights which are arriving and departing at a particular time. In-case if there are two different flights arriving or departing at the same time then he needs to report he Senior Assistant.

5. What Is The Duty Of A Senior Assistant?
Senior Assistant is responsible for Instructing the pilots about their movements. A senior assistant takes reports from the Junior Executive and reports to the Manager for instructions at extreme cases.

6. What Is The Job Of A Manager?
A manager is responsible to instruct the Junior executives and the Senior Assistants and collect reports from them on weekly, monthly and annual basis.

7. What Are The Different Kinds Of Roles Played In The Job Of An Atc?

8. Who Is A Tower Controller?

The competition level is bit too high and it has to be as this job requires a lot responsibilities to be handled. But then too I feel that there is always a space for highly qualified and disciplined ATCs.

15. Suppose There Is A Delay In Flights And A Few Flights Are Already On A Runway And Two More Are About To Come. What Would You Do In That Situation?
I will instruct incoming flights to hold in the air for a while and reduce its travelling speed so that in that time I can instruct the pilots of the other flights who are standing on the runway to move to some other place.

It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem, identify or detect a known pattern (a figure, object, word, or sound) that is hidden in other distracting material, apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times, Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one, Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions, Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action, Talking to others to convey information effectively.

32. Tell me about a time when you were personally involved in a stressful situation and how you handled it?
The most stressful situation was :-
I was instd 12th and had my 12th board exam on that day but when I was ready to go to take my exams, we had a quarrel with my neighbor and it was so violent that my papa was hospitalized and I was about to leave my board exams but then a police officer took me to my center there some how I appeared for the exam (although exam was good) and I returned home and found that the quarrel was still going on by fits and start. this situation was like a challenge to me as to how I handle my stress.

34. What was the most challenging problem you have faced in your career and how did you overcome it?
While training for an instructor position I encountered a physical problem that hampered my ability to study and focus. I was however determined to succeed and that I did. It was extremely difficult but I learnt an invaluable lesson. Let others underestimate you but do not underestimate yourself. Never quit you do not know how you will do if you do not follow through something to the end.

The Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits, relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions, principles and methods for describing the features of land, sea, and air masses, including their physical characteristics, locations, interrelationships, and distribution of plant, animal, and human life, principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects, principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

39. Do you enjoy shift work? Are there certain hours of the day during which you would prefer not to work?
Yes, I don’t like having holidays with lots of people in the street.

40. This is your first job as an ATC. How do you think you’ll succeed?
I will succeed coz am a fast and willing learner am passionate and fascinated by atc that will be a key drive for me to succeed in atc i love team work and I will work hand in hand with the experienced atcas and take responsible roles that will challenge me and gain experience from them hence grow fast and improve my self as a controller.

41. When have you demonstrated the ability at work to handle stress for long periods of time?
I demonstrated it in my sales job, when there was a really slow day and there was no traffic. Keeping positivity in your worklife will bring you results. I always tend to keep myself busy during my stress hours to eliminate fear of stress.

No I still don’t have.

46. What was your greatest success?
Whenever I fail, I consider it as to start from the beginning in order to achieve my aspirations and goal.. I find my habit of getting inspired from my failure is the great success to me and I wish that at any point I should not loose this quality of mine.

47. Can you provide an example of when you have worked effectively under pressure?
I feel no pressure because I want to work where one finds it difficult to work.

48. What do you like most about being an Air Traffic Controller?
Aviation related job. Chance to learn different aspects of skills and knowledge. Continous learning and improvment. (push back to approach)

49. Why do you want to be an ATC?
I want a job that mentally challenges me and gives me the feeling that I am a part of something bigger than myself and working to help secure the lives of people everyday. Also because I want a job that is about exactly what I got my degree for, I want those years of learning to serve a purpose for my career as an air traffic controller.

50. Where do you see your career going in ATC?
Learning new systems, doing my part to keep the skies safe, advancing in grade.
