By taking Laplace transform for differential equation in the time domain equations in S-domain can be obtained. L{F(t)}=F(s)
S domain is used for solving the time domain differential equations easily by applying the Laplace for the differential equations.

  1. The control system is analysed in two domains time and frequency(s) domains.
    The time domain describes the system behaviour in the form of differantial equation which is difficult to solve.Hence s domain is used to analyze the system by transforming differential equation to algebraic equation
