What is Radius ?
Radius is a protocol to provide information based on authentication, authorization, and configuration among the Network Access Server (NAS) which provides authentication to its related links and a shared Authentication Server.
This tutorial provides basic introduction about Radius and its features, operations, packet format, and attributes. At the same time this tutorial also gives various examples Radius request and response, and terminates with a brief introduction to Diameter, a planned replacement of Radius.
